Begin your 4-day trip to Tunisia with a visit to Carthage, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you’ll explore ancient ruins, the amphitheater, and the impressive Roman baths. From there, head to the charming village of Sidi Bou Said, known for its stunning blue-and-white architecture and Mediterranean views. After lunch, visit the historic Medina of Tunis before continuing to the coastal city of Sousse. End the day with a visit to the Ribat of Sousse and an overnight stay.
Start your day with a visit to the Roman amphitheater of El Jem, one of the largest in the world and a marvel of ancient architecture. Then, travel to Matmata, home to the famous troglodyte dwellings of the Berber people. After a hosted Berber lunch, explore the underground homes and visit the Star Wars filming location, the Sidi Driss Hotel. In the afternoon, continue to Douz, where you can enjoy an optional camel ride before settling in for a traditional Berber dinner under the stars at a desert camp.
Drive across the vast Chott El Jerid salt flats toward Tozeur, stopping to admire the striking salt sculptures along the way. In Tozeur, enjoy a date tasting experience before heading to the mountain oases of Chebika and Tamerza for a 4WD adventure. Explore the waterfalls, historic ruins, and desert landscapes featured in Star Wars films. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Tozeur.
Conclude your tour with a visit to Kairouan, the fourth holiest city in Islam. Explore the Great Mosque, the Mausoleum of the Barber, and the ancient Aghlabid Basins. After lunch and a visit to the Medina, head back to Tunis, where your 4-day Tunisia tour comes to an end.
